We are thrilled to announce the EMEA Chromium Flex Apex Grant Program. We are looking for visionary researchers to propose highly innovative pilot projects utilizing Flex Apex to process samples in translational research.

The Challenge
- Submit a concise abstract (max 300 words) proposing a creative pilot research project that leverages Flex Apex from 10x Genomics. Your proposal should clearly outline how you intend to use this pilot data to apply for future funding.
- Eligibility & Sample Processing: Applicants must hold a primary research position and have the budget secured to run downstream sequencing. You have complete freedom to choose where to run your samples—whether in-house, at a core facility, or through a commercial service provider. If you do not have a facility in mind, we can provide recommendations to help you find the right processing partner.
- Selection: A dedicated 10x Genomics committee will review all submissions and select winners based on research creativity, scientific merit, and innovation.
The Prize
Three outstanding winners will be selected to receive a comprehensive grant package to kickstart their pilot project:
- Reagent kits:
Grand Prize: One 16-reaction kit of the Flex Apex for the most innovative project proposal.
Runner-up prizes: Two winners will each receive a 4-reaction kit of the Flex Apex.
- Expert Consulting: Consulting and guidance from 10x Genomics scientists to ensure the flawless execution of your experimental workflows from sample prep to data analysis.
Co-Marketing Partnership
We want to amplify your scientific breakthroughs! By accepting the grant, winners agree to collaborate with 10x Genomics on co-marketing initiatives to share their success stories. This includes:
- Presenting your project and findings in a joint webinar.
- Participating as an invited speaker at upcoming 10x Genomics-sponsored events.
Key Dates
- Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026
- Announcement of the winners: The winners will be announced no later than July 1, 2026
- Project Completion: Proposed experiments should be completed by October 31, 2026
