We are pleased to announce the 10x Genomics Grant Program for Lithuania and Latvia. The winning applicant will receive a 4-reaction kit of any 10x Genomics single cell assay to carry out a pilot project.
Bulk sequencing methods can mask the true variation of cell populations. High-throughput single cell solutions from 10x Genomics offer a multidimensional view of complex biological systems. Look at gene expression profiles for hundreds to tens of thousands of individual cells in parallel. Simultaneously measure immune repertoire, cell-surface proteins, antigen specificity, and more for single cells in the same assay. These technologies can help investigators access new perspectives on the inner workings of biology that can quickly lead to new insights.
We invite researchers to submit an abstract outlining how they plan to use 10x Genomics single cell solutions in their research. The program aims to help researchers in Lithuania and Latvia generate pilot data to support future grant applications, and to promote the use of cutting-edge 10x Genomics solutions in genomic and translational research.
Submit an abstract (maximum 300 words) proposing a pilot research project that uses any 10x Genomics single cell assay. A selection committee from 10x Genomics, Linea Libera and BioAvots will review all submissions and select the winner based on research creativity and innovation.
One winner will be selected and awarded a 4-reaction kit of any 10x Genomics single cell assay, along with library preparation and bioinformatic support from Linea Libera and BioAvots.
Applicants must be affiliated with a university or other research organisation in Lithuania or Latvia and hold a primary research position. Applicants must be planning to submit a grant application to support a broader research aim for which they need pilot data, and may not hold current awards directly related to the proposed research.
Abstract submissions open: 22 October 2026
