We are pleased to announce the 10x Genomics Single Cell Grant Program. This award covers bioinformatic support, library preparation, project consultation, and Illumina sequencing for up to 4 samples for a pilot project using one of these single cell sequencing applications from 10x Genomics:
- Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression
- Chromium Single Cell Immune Profiling
- Chromium Single Cell ATAC
Reveal genomic variation across complex cell populations
Bulk sequencing methods can mask the true variation of cell populations. High-throughput single cell solutions from 10x Genomics offer a multidimensional view of complex biological systems. Look at gene expression profiles for hundreds to tens of thousands of individual cells in parallel. Simultaneously measure immune repertoire, cell-surface proteins, antigen specificity, and more for single cells in the same assay. These technologies can help investigators access new perspectives on the inner workings of biology that can quickly lead to new insights.
We’re inviting researchers to submit an abstract sharing your innovative plans to use single cell sequencing solutions from 10x Genomics in your research. The goal of this program is to enable Instituto de Parasitologia y Biomedicina Lopez Neyra-CSIC researchers as they seek to generate pilot data to submit in support of future grant applications, and to promote the use of cutting-edge solutions from 10x Genomics for genomic and translational research. Applications will be reviewed within two weeks of submission deadline.
What will you learn from high-throughput single cell analysis?
Submit an abstract (max 300 words) proposing a pilot research project that uses one of the single cell solutions from 10x Genomics. A 10x Genomics and Instituto de Parasitologia y Biomedicina Lopez Neyra-CSIC committee will review and select winners based on research creativity and innovation.
The winner(s) will be selected and will be awarded (1) 4-reaction Chromium single cell sequencing solution kit, along with bioinformatic support, library preparation, project consultation, and Illumina sequencing for up to 4 samples from Instituto de Parasitologia y Biomedicina Lopez Neyra-CSIC. Sequencing costs is not included and will need to be paid for by the researcher.
Applicants must hold primary research positions and must be planning to submit a grant application to support a broader research aim for which they need pilot data. Applicants may not hold current awards directly related to the proposed research.
Enter your abstract starting January 17, 2022 through February 18, 2022.
Projects proposed should complete experiments before June 30, 2022.
See Terms and Conditions for contest rules and eligibility.
