Simultaneous profiling of the transcriptome and epigenome at single cell resolution can transform our understanding of tumor biology, developmental biology, and other biological processes and disease states. Such studies require a comprehensive view of gene expression patterns and their corresponding epigenetic regulation. The Chromium Single Cell Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression solution enables the direct analysis of the link between gene expression patterns and accessibility of the open Chromatin in the same single cell. This combined approach with dual readouts from every cell opens the path to an enhanced characterization of cell types and states, and will provide deeper insight into underlying gene regulatory mechanisms.
This webinar will briefly introduce the Chromium Single Cell Multiome ATAC + Gene Expression solution from sample preparation to data analysis. It will also provide an overview of computational principles, methods and challenges for the integrative analysis of the two data modalities when derived from the same cell will be presented. This will include joint dimensionality reduction, quantification of transcription factor activities, and inference of gene regulatory networks.
The webinar consists of a ~45 min presentation followed by a Q&A session.
