10x Genomics and Illumina are excited to bring you a joint webinar, highlighting research conducted by Swetha Anandhan, doctoral candidate in the laboratory of Dr. Padmanee Sharma, from the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. In this webinar, Anandhan will describe her work to elucidate the mechanisms that bolster malignant cells’ abilities to evade checkpoint blockade immunotherapy. Her talk will highlight the use of single cell RNA-sequencing to identify a unique population of macrophages in glioblastoma multiforme that persists after treatment with immune checkpoint inhibitors, and the application of CD73 as a possible combinatorial target.
In addition, Jason Kim from 10x Genomics and Steven Hoffman from Illumina will briefly present on solutions and methodologies for single cell studies, sequencing requirements, and more.
